- Description of Research Group:
- The Green Catalytic Conversion of Biomass Team focuses on the green conversion and high-value utilization of biomass resources, with particular emphasis on lignocellulosic biomass and plant-derived chemicals. Our research encompasses biomass separation and conversion, plant chemical engineering, green solvents, and biocatalysis. We investigate enzymatic catalysis in green media such as deep eutectic solvents (DESs), as well as the green dissolution, functionalization, and material construction of biomass components including cellulose and lignin. Our goal is to establish an integrated green conversion platform spanning biomass resources, value-added chemicals, and functional materials, while further advancing functionalized green solvents and sustainable synthesis engineering.
